Pretty In Pink

I love this pic of my Emily with her dear friend Kylie.  They have actually been mistaken for sisters which cracks me up since Ky is like a foot taller than Emily!  They are both very sweet and very cute.  And funnnny!  You should hear them sing!!!
You read about Kaylin in the previous post...she, Emily and Kylie are like "The Three Amigos"!  Or is it "Charlies Angels"?  Oh ya I forgot...it's "The Three Stooges"!! hee hee
Kaylin, Kylie and Emily, three of my favorites in the whole wide world!!!

Photo Shoot

This morning we're doing a photo shoot with Emily's dear friend KK of Kaylin Ishak Photography http://kaylinishakphotography.com/. She does the most amazing things with her photography! She will be snapping pics of my new purse and apron designs for the covers of my new patterns. My girls will be the models. As soon as the patterns are printed I'll be selling them in my Etsy shop. http://www.etsy.com/shop/pompomsandpolkadots. I'll post some pics of the shoot, should be a kick with all those girls!

Kaylin Ishak
Emily and KK, friends since 1st grade!

New Studio

OH MY GOSH AM I EXCITED!!! Hubby put my new shelving together that we bought at IKEA in Seattle so after a day-and-a-half I finally got it all organized.  Love the new storage!
Both machines have their own 1950's vintage tables...they are so sturdy!
The computer corner.  The fam can still be at the computer but not in my way and I don't have to push a sewing machine out of the way to make room for the laptop anymore when I'm writing patterns!
The new cutting table is "THE BOMB"!  FYI:  That's the teen saying for "Awsome" these days!  Most of my fabrics are stored in the boxes in the cubbies by color.
My faborite books are at eye level at right at "the ready"!
Design assistant Chloe, exhausted after all that organizing!

Apron

So, Kristen's friend Kelsey (one of our extra kids) donned one of my aprons and struck a pose in my messy sewing room and here's how it turned out!  Teenagers!  Ya gotta love em!!  She was trying to be B.A. but she started cracking up!
