My New Jacket...I Wish!

Don't you just love what Kay Whitt from Serendipity Studio has done with her Catherine Coat? I just HAVE to make this darling jacket from wool the minute the pattern comes out in October! She has such a cute and classy style and if you jog on over to her blog, yes that darling gal wearing all the coats is Kay herself.  http://blog.sewserendipity.com/   Love all the details that she puts into her designs!

Also, thought my blog needed a little Autumn flair so let me know what you think of the new color scheme. So excited to change to Christmas flair in a few weeks! Found some cute ideas!!

Off to Omaha tomorrow for a week for my nephew's wedding and to visit my sister (Hi Missy). Should be a fun trip...haven't been there for ages and everything is so much different since I moved from there 33 years ago! Have a great week friends!

I'm Baaaack

Arrived home yesterday from Minneapolis. The Creative Connection was a lovely event packed with lots of fun classes, activities and wonderful booths at The Handmade Market. I snapped alot of pics of the booths, thought you might like to see them! As always you can click on each picture to view it larger.

My booth...people got a kick out of the fact that I came from Montana. There were gals from all over the country!

This shot was taken before I re-arranged the purses so it did look more tidy.

Tinsel Trading Company from New York City and Wendy Addison from California.

This booth was amazing! This is the front and you walk inside and it was like being in a vintage playhouse!

My booth neighbors, Eye Candy Creations from Georgia and Omaha. They were darling!

Emily's Senior Pics

My Emily (#2 out of 3) just started her senior year of high school, which is odd since it seems like she was just in 2nd grade a couple years ago. Time definately flies! Since my last 2 posts were so boring, thought I'd brighten things up a bit with a few of Emily's senior pics!

Goodbye Stuff

Shipped all my goodies off to Minneapolis today! Whew...exhausted! Thank goodness for the very helpful ladies at the UPS store! Hope all 13 boxes make it there ok. Decided to leave Molly and the lamp home...too afraid they'll both get hurt en route.
These are just the small boxes!

Polkadot Lamp

You've heard of the Itsy Bitsy Teeny Weeny Yellow Polka Dot Bikini? Well after turning 49 last weekend, this bod isn't going any where near a bikini! Sooo...I bought myself a red polkadot lamp!! That's close don't you think? I'll be using it in my booth in Minneapolis. They had black and white ones too but I am overdosing on blk/wht polkadots with the fabrics and decor so I went with red.
Can't wait to use it in my holliday decorating! I'm going all out this year!
