ALL ABOARD!!

Sorry I've been a little MIA lately; girls and I went by train to Seattle for Spring Break to visit family and friends. Had delays on the train coming and going due to nature/weather. Delayed by 3 hours leaving Montana then delayed by 5 hours on the way home. Just outside of Seattle we got word there had been a mudslide up ahead in Washington somewhere that washed out the tracks and buses had to come pick us up and drive us to Spokane (5 hours)! So after arriving in Spokane at 1:30 a.m. and sitting in said train station "enjoying" the night-time train station characters, we left Spokane for home at 5:00 a.m. Needless to say we were basically awake all night, all 3 of us were so "punchy", as my mom used to call it when you are " too tired to see straight" (another mom-ism), that we laughed at almost everything that went on in the train station.
We were never so happy to be back on the much-roomier train and be able to snooze for a bit. Hard to sleep when you know you're going through one of the most beautiful national parks in the country though!
Overall, I would say it was a great adventure and yes we would still ride the train agin!

Emily and Kristen are ready to roll!

Can't believe I'm actually posting this pic cuz I look awful! Like I had been sleeping on a train or something! hee hee

These 2 big stadiums were right next to the train station in downtown Seattle.

Seattle Skyline

Absolutely LOVE this bald pink mannequin! She thinks she is directing traffic in that display window! Oh well...I wasn't gonna tell her any different!

Shop til you..........sit?

Cupcake break.

Great beautiful old clock tower atop the Seattle train station.
